TIMEGATE 2014 - May 23-25, 2014 - Atlanta

TimeGate is an annual science fiction / fantasy convention that focuses on Doctor Who and Stargate but also includes programming on a wide range of other sci-fi / fantasy interests. So if you're into Stargate SG-1, Doctor Who, Stargate Atlantis, Torchwood, The Sarah Jane Adventures or Stargate Universe this is the convention for you! But if not, we'll also have Star Trek, Battlestar, literary, costuming, horror and comics programming too, along with many other topics. In 2013, we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who, a unique achievement in the world of television science fiction / fantasy.

Here’s a fun game for Saturday afternoon at the convention:

Jaffa Challenge of Honour
In a bracket style competition competitors will stand back to back, take 5 steps on the “playing field”, turn and throw the foam “Goa’uld Grenade” at their opponent upon command. Try to dodge your opponent’s grenade, but you have to dodge and throw without moving your feet! Sign up will begin at convention opening with JoeDog and end at the last challenge of the first round. Names will be drawn for first round competition and to set the brackets Awards will be given to the top 3 winners. There is no entry fee but any donations will go to charity of TimeGate. Saturday afternoon at 5:00.
